In The Spirit of the Children is a non-profit community-based organization established to provide daily support services to children, youth and families. We offer a continuum of services to young adults exiting foster care through our Youth Transition Empowerment Program (YTEP). Our Family Empowerment Program (FEP) provides support services to parents who have reunited with their children, in order to prevent the re-entry of the children into foster care. The mission of these programs is to stablilize families in crisis and to assist them toward the goal of self-reliance. The members of this organization firmly believe in the intrinsic ability of all families to improve their own conditions, once given the tools needed.
